Synopsis

Iulian spent his teenager life at an orphanage, in which he found himself at the age of ten. Because of the bad treatment he endured, he decided to run away wanting to escape and to build a new life on his own. He will choose Bucharest as his destination. Here he will make new friends who will try to help him, involving their families into the process. But will he succeed?

Director's short bio

Alex Mironescu (b. 1987) is a Romanian filmmaker, journalist and broadcasting media producer. He graduated a M.A. in Advertising & P.R. Campaigns Strategy at the University of Bucharest and currently he studies Film Directing at Sint Lukas - School of the Arts, in Brussels - Belgium. He started his film studies at The National University of Theatre and Film "I.L. Caragiale", in Bucharest - Romania, where he did his 1st short documentary film "IULIAN. a True Story", which brought him his first nomination at the GOPO (Romanian Film Industry) Awards, for the best short doc of 2014.
