Submissions will be open on August 26th and are limited to 360 minutes.

The Festival will be conducted online and is open to anyone up to the age of 35 years old who is from Balkan States: Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Greece, Kosovo*, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Turkey.

AltcineAction! supports the film production and co-production in the Balkans by highlighting the next generation of directors.

Get your film ready! Films must be under 15 minutes, and they will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until a total of 360 minutes of film has been submitted.

Win amazing Prizes! Prizes range from full-tuition for a three-year filmmaking degree to post-production softwares and all you need for your next production! Don’t forget: your next film will be produced by our sponsors. altcineAction! could open the door to your first co-production. Services are available to all Balkan filmmakers.

Film buff? AltcineAction! makes you the jury! all submitted films will be judged by the public. But there’s a twist: a panel of experts will judge the judges and award a prize to the best overall critic.
